The polygon art drawing technique is a kind of digital art. Originally polygonal technique appeared for 3D video games modeling. But there is also a more deep history behind it. Polygonal design was preceded by a whole trend in art. At the beginning of the 20th century, expressionist movement became popualr. Expressionists refused to do it the "classical" way of drawing, they wanted to paint pictures not with lines, but with circles, triangles and other geometric shapes. This marked the beginning of the polygon art technique.
